Ci rendiamo conto che non stiamo state molto comunicative recentemente. Vi chiediamo scusa, ma durante il periodo d’agosto non ce stata tanta attività. Ora si ricomincia e cerchiamo la maniera migliore a tenere tutti aggiornati.
Per primo, Gloria Rogliani è riuscita di trasmettere il suo entusiasmo per la nostra associazione in un modo tale che l’Assessore Simionato ha deciso di farci da padrino, e per questo siamo contentissime. Lui ci darà di sicuro dei consigli informati e validissimi, sia per l’associazione sia per il documentario; ma inoltre, il suo fede ci da anche una validità che non avremmo senza di questo onore sostanziale.
Poi, anche considerando la mancanza di attività di agosto, abbiamo raccolto più di 70 soci, che secondo noi non è da poco.
Siamo lavorando tanto anche con la associazione Arzanà (e non solo), per cercare la maniera più efficace di diffondere la presenza della voga nei rii di Venezia.
Finalmente, com’è stato scritto nel post precedente, un propriatario con uno bellissimo sandolo fermo in acqua ci ha dato l’uso libero. Siamo contentissimi, e ora ci mettiamo pensare come usarlo per ottenere i nostro scopi.
Grazie a tutti, soci e non soci, per la vostra pazienza – cerchiamo di tenervi tutti aggiornati meglio nel futuro. Intanto…VIVA la voga all veneta!

Hi Everyone,
We realize that we haven’t been very communicative recently. We apologize for that, but would also like to let you know that other than the period of August we all of Italy was on vacation, we’ve been quite busy. We’ll try to catch you up now, then keep you apprised from now on.
First: rowing champion Gloria Rogliani (who saw the documentary trailer) succeeded in transmitting her enthusiasm to the Venetian Sports Commissioner, who has now taken on the formal role of champion to our association; of course we are delighted. This will entitle us to expert, informed advice both for the association and the documentary, and what’s more, his faith in our cause gives us a validity that we could never acquire ourselves without this substantial honor.
Then, even considering the cessation of activity that goes on in August here, we have still acquired over 70 members…that for a new association in such a short period of time, is not a small thing. Now, if each or our members would find two more members, and then they would find two more, and so on, and so on…well, we’d be set!
We also working a great deal with the association Arzanà, who rescues and restores any nautically-associated
Finally, we are delighted to report that we have just been given free use of a sandolo buranello, a beautiful row boat. In the near future we’ll be looking at the best way to use this lovely boat to our best advantage.
