Everyone’s invited Saturday, July 28, to a SERATA a REMI, evenings by oar:
evening outings in traditional venetian boats — exclusively by oar.
Please join us for the 2nd Serata a Remi of 2012, offered by Viva, the non-profit association that promotes the presence of Venetian traditional craft in the city.
Join us along the Grand Canal for a selection of light arias e choruses, Venetian and Italian; you can just listen, or sing along to any you recognize. This SERENATA OPERETTA features DAVIDE SIBILLA on the keyboard, 4 singers — and a chorus in barca, or with whoever else would like to sing along.
If you’re without a row, have your gondoliere bring you along, or join the corteo on foot at the scheduled stops along the Grand Canal.
